Golf Putting Practice Tips And Strategies For Success On The Greens
Putting Practice When Arriving To The Golf Course Before Your Round
Before a round of golf, it is important to warm up your game properly to give you the best possible chance of being successful on the course. When arriving to the golf course before your tee time, I recommended giving yourself plenty of time to warm up. You're probably going to want to hit some balls to warm up your swing, but don't forget about spending some time on the practice putting green. Sometimes before a round it can be helpful to use only one ball to putt on the practice green. This will help to get you in the concentration mode and have the mindset that you only get to hit your putts one time on the greens. If you take three ball out and aimlessly hit them around, it is common to lose a little bit of focus. Many pros will warm up with just one golf ball on the practice green before the tee it up and go play. Try this and see if you are able to get focused quicker on the putting greens the next time you go out to play.
Practice Putting Tip: Make Sure To Spend At Least Half Your Warmup Time Before Your Golf Round On The Practice Putting Green
If you plan on spending 45 minutes warming up before your round, I would recommend that you spend at least 25 minutes or so on or around the putting green. Being able to spend time and get a feel of the greens will help you tremendously. You'll be sure you start off the first few holes with a bang and won't have to use this time as more of your warm up.
